HKUST carries out several fundraising initiatives during the year, among them is the annual Phone Campaign—a telephone outreach campaign in which HKUST student ambassadors connect to alumni with the purposes to

1. Update contact and career information of our alumni

2. Enhance communication between the University and alumni by

• Keeping them abreast of the latest happenings and learning environment of HKUST
• Getting their valuable feedback on alumni programs;

3. Raise funds for the Alumni Endowment Fund (AEF) in support of different student initiatives

Monday – Thursday 6:15 pm to 9:45 pm*

Saturday & Sunday 10:00am to 5:00 pm

DAO will send a letter and email in advance informing alumni that our student ambassadors will call and update them on the University’s latest happenings and to raise fund for students. Alumni can opt-out if they do not wish to receive the calls.

Every ambassador will undergo a comprehensive training on matters relating to the call campaign.
