HKUST United was launched in 2020 to help our current and graduating students get in touch with alumni mentors amidst the Covid-19 crisis, and has since expanded to an online community of alumni and students seeking to connect with fellow HKUST’ers.
Our 82,000+ alumni live and work in over 100 countries and cities around the world, and this platform makes it easy for you to connect with former classmates, find a mentor or become a mentor, and expand your professional network no matter where in the world you are located.

Sign up to the HKUST United Community with your email address or your LinkedIn account. If you register by email, an authentication email will be sent to you – don’t forget to click the link in the email to finish setting up your profile.
The Directory shows you all the students and alumni registered on the platform. You can search for individuals based on one or more criteria, such as graduation year, industry, job function, location, and more.
If you have signed up to seek / offer help, the platform will match you with a mentor / mentee based on your preferences. Keep an eye on your message inbox for details of your match and don’t be shy about reaching out to him/her!
